5 things I have learnt from the introduction and application tutorials




1. Terrain
-          To get rid of ocean roll up bar, modify, environ, material, ocean, select and delete
-          Open terrain, modify, set water level to zero, 

-         2.  Delete terrain, holds, modify tsab, make hole, use to delete the terrain.
-          Leave a little for a reference to build something on.
-          No such thing as bsb, must build it out of island, 

-          3. Rollup bar, create solid, set degree to 1, make sure help is on, just do drag and drop (snaps)
-          Control G to get a feel of the size
-          Copying something: grab and control c, then move it (shift will also work.
-          Work with the grid, make sure the ;grid; oftion is on, make sure grid is active, snaps
-          Rollup, editing. Edit solid, polygon, move face, bring up to change face
-          
 4.Rotation: 6-8 hot z twice
-          Don’t be messy when you create your solids, clean up edges and operlapping sides even though they may never be rendered.
-          If there is a loit of light bleeding in: Rollup bar, area, invisible area (make sure grid is on), put the grid over the shape, double click to turn off the grid,
-           
-          5.create, brush, obj, props
-          Make sure ‘Y’ is on, pans automatically from left to right,, if ‘X; is selected, it will pan up and down.
-          Area, build a portal connect at the edges of the vis areas,
